We are a strong and stable company that is positioned for growth through our innovative products, excellent people, and commitment to continuous process improvement company-wide.Job Opening: Engineering DirectorReports to: General ManagerApplications Accepted: Until FilledResponsibilities:The ideal candidate must be able to:1) Establish a capable and qualified engineering team and set up the right structure that provides the best support to the realization of company strategy and business needs;2) Associate with R&D Advanced Development team and take over the implementation of new product to support NPD schedule in terms of completing the product design, evaluate product design and lead the actions for resolutions for any issues it may have, develop the molding plan, design and fabricate the mold as required, develop manufacturing process and ensure the process being set up properly to support mass production of the new product;3) Ensure the entire NPI processes being developed properly and executed effectively to meet both quality target and product cost target;4) Lead the NPI processes and coordinate with all related functions, i.e. quality, sourcing, manufacturing, etc., to ensure the new product goes through the entire NPI processes and move into mass production on schedule;5) Develop and set up manufacturing processes to ensure the new product will be built on the quality standard and at the target manufacturing cost;6) Conduct product cost and mold cost evaluation and rectify the design/materials/processes where necessary to lower the product cost and hit the product profitability target while maintaining the product feature, function and quality standard desired;7) Participate in DFMEA and make join efforts on developing the solutions to cope with any issues/risks identified;8) Lead PFMEA and drive/develop the solutions to any issues/risks identified;9) Conduct mold simulation and design analysis based on product/part drawing, check and evaluate any design change required from mold design and mold making perspective to avoid any potential issue/risk on product features and quality caused by mold issue;10) Work together with Marketing team in Germany in terms of graphic design for new products and package design revision for sustaining products;11) Work together with SCM team in searching and developing the right supplier to support the business in terms of product packaging;12) Lead ECN process and ensure any engineering changes have been reviewed properly and implemented efficiently;13) Associate with R&D Advanced Development team and Product Management team on upgrading of sustaining products for continuous improvement in terms of quality, performance, functionality and/or product cost;14) Design, develop, maintain and evaluate tools/fixtures/jigs to support production;etc.Core Values: We thrill our consumers with quality, products and service; Zero Tolerance to corruption; We care about each other’s well-being; We share ideas, challenge each other and do the right thing; We respect each other, show humility and grow from our failures; We foster the development of individuals to reach their greatest potential.If you’re qualified and want to apply for this job, please email us:***@***.***or***@***.***Best regardsHR

Qualifications:The successful candidate for the Engineering Director will be responsible for the overall management of Engineering department, which including NPI (New Product Implementation), PE (Process Engineering), IE (Industry Engineering), Mold Engineering (Mold Design and Making), production fixture/jig design and fabrication. The Engineering Director need to establish a capable engineering team, take over the implementation of the new product from R&D team once the product design is approved, develop the right and capable manufacturing processes to support the manufacturing of the new products, design and make the mold/tool/fixture that required for new product manufacturing, and be responsible for PFMEA and problem solving to ensure the new product goes through the NPI processes and move into mass production smoothly in a timely manner and hit the cost target. The Engineering Director is also responsible for the trouble shooting with existing products and manufacturing processes, continuous improve process capability to ensure the product was made on right quality standard and in the most cost-effective way. It’s required where necessary for the Engineering Director to provide technical support to the supplier where the parts are outsourced, to ensure the parts outsourced were made on the specification and meet quality standard.Experience and Education Requirements:• Bachelor degree or above in electronic, electric or equivalent;• 15 years+ working experience in an Engineering Management Role with minimum 10 years leadership in New Products Introduction in a fast-paced manufacturing environment;Experience should include new product development and introduction, packaging design, process engineering, mold engineering, project management and establishment of engineering structure and procedures to support company strategy and business needs;• Rich experience on product design and implementation, solid experience with variant manufacturing technologies, i.e. SMT, plastic injection and die casting, CNC, anodizing, assembly, etc.;• Good knowledge and experience with design software, i.e. Solidwork, moldflow, UG, etc.;• Ability to communicate effectively to influence others and gain support to achieve results in a cooperative manner;• Ability on decision making -- uses a proactive approach to problems and challenges and is able to react quickly and decisively to critical situations;• Ability to work in multi-language and multi-cultural environment in our global entity to ensure projects and processes are linked well;• Effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple complex assignments, projects and issues simultaneously.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work independently and collaboratively; Possess a high level of self-motivation, initiative and innovative problem solving;• Good command of English (oral English is must);• China working experience is preferred;
