This school is an international school. The school offers the IB Curriculum and requires an EYP coordinator to join for August 2024 start. You will join a team of international teachers working in a well resourced environment. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality educational experience for students, ensuring that progress and attainment are of the highest possible standard for each student. 1. Training and mentoring of PYP teachers in the kindergarten alongside the Chinese EYP coordinator 2. Contribution to the whole school implementation of the PYP program 3. Ensuring that all requirements of the IBO concerning the implementation of the program are adhered to. 4. Encouraging the implementation of inquiry based learning, and through the integrated Chinese National Curriculum 5. Assisting teams or individual teachers in developing, reviewing and maintaining Units of Inquiry 6. Supporting teachers and students involved in the EYP exhibitions as needed 7. Daily support of school functioning cantered around teaching and learning, including CRT placement, and emergency response to problems 8. Regular discussions with individual teachers to ensure that the professional learning plans (PLP) serve its purpose of upskilling teachers 9. Conduct performance review conversations with individual teachers twice a year to help teachers Communication/Meetings Chair 10.
