Job Description: We’re looking for a design director of themed attractions with rich experience in high-level design of theme park and themed entertainment projects. We are a well-known design company based in Shanghai, who is dedicated to the design of aforementioned projects. Our design director will be tasked with design management and technical direction of theme park and themed entertainment projects. In addition to having outstanding ability of planning, the director is also expected to shoulder responsibilities such as the design of scene, scheme and creative solutions and the overseeing of them. Meanwhile, he or she will facilitate market development and project presentation and shall be willing to take business trips upon requirement. Responsibilities: 1. In charge of planning and designing of theme park and themed entertainment projects. Participate in project presentation. Responsible for clearly articulating design concepts or ideas to clients; 2. Tasked with the design of scene, scheme and creative solutions of major projects and the overseeing of them; 3. Provide professional support in design to guide the creative team to complete projects. Mobilize and engage team members to develop their creative talent and advance design efficiency; 4. Facilitate market development and project presentation for the company; willingness to take business trips is a MUST. 5. Give regular speeches on project progress and summary.

Requirements: 1. Master’s Degree or above in architectural design, art design, landscape architecture or a related discipline; 2. More than 5 years of experience in designing theme park and themed entertainment and in the management of such projects. Candidates with experience in the design of renowned large-scale theme parks are preferred; 3. A skilled leader of a creative team. Ability to direct the design of a mid-to-large scale theme park project. A solid grasp of the workflow of theme park design and comprehensive cross-disciplinary knowledge in this regard; 4. Outstanding analytical and creative abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills and sound logical thinking. 5. A good command of sketching is a MUST.
