Duties: 1, Prepare and deliver online instructional courses to prepare students for AP History, Maths and Chemistry. 2, Provide course summaries after each class. 3, Set classroom rules and regulations and maintain classroom order. 4, Provide some timely after-class support in WeChat. 5, Provide homework help and track learning progress. 6, Assign homework, correct homework, improve study materials, etc. 7, Communicate with Atelier staff when necessary. The tutor needs to be bilingual (English and Mandarin) and be able to teach online based on the New York Times. Ideally, the tutor should be based in the United States and have no time difference with students to facilitate communication. The successful candidate will retain regular weekly sessions. Requirements: - Experience teaching online - Native English or bilingual (English and Chinese) - Must be able to teach in English - Tutoring experience in AP subjects (Chemistry, Maths and History) with evidence of positive results - Confidence in helping students improve their academic performance quickly - Ability to design, administer and score regular tests - Ability to design, develop and deliver short courses and syllabuses according to specific requirements - Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to students' levels and classroom performance - Able to provide additional relevant learning and practice materials for students to work on as after-school assignments - Enjoy working with children - Patient, reliable and responsible - Outgoing and have good interpersonal skills
