Job Responsibilities As a Narrative Designer, you will work closely with Chinese and international colleagues to bring the best of Chinese game experiences to foreign markets. You will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team where your cultural expertise and creativity will be readily available for multiple projects, across multiple disciplines. You will - Work with multiple teams to fulfil narrative design requirements. - Write the game's main story, plot summary, and backstory for in-game events, items, and characters. - Plan the narrative structure of the game, working closely with the development team to ensure integration of the narrative design. - Design characters, icons, avatar frames, and various art assets using detailed descriptions and examples, and provide references for all details. - Provide the development team with a practical understanding of the sensitive risks and preferences of Western game audiences. - Support the development team by ensuring quality localisation of game text. - Support the development and marketing teams by writing reference and educational documents that provide specific insights into Western culture and Western gaming culture. - Be a visionary world builder for future game concepts.

1, Native or Fluent English: English is your native language, or you speak English fluently and can write creatively in English. 2, Creative at heart: You can always imagine worlds, characters, and stories; you may have even written them or acted them out in Dungeons & Dragons. 3, HARDCORE GAMER: You "get" games. You understand the typical systems that are reused in games, and even some of the nuances of game design. You have strong opinions about them. 4, PROBLEM SOLVING EXPERT: You have constraints, which means you have solutions. You know how to get to the heart of an idea and realise its full potential in the face of deadlines or multiple disagreements.
