In this job I have learned a lot more than how to be a good teacher. I had great success in a show called “Global Kids Club” and was then asked to host a New-Year show for all teachers of the school. Working here, I have learned how to speak for an audience (In Chinese), how to think fast, make a decision and act quickly. How to improvise when suddenly asked to step in for someone else (both in shows and classes). Here, I also do commercial classes for recruitment of new students.

Every summer while taking my BA and Economics studies, I would go back to my hometown and have a summer job at a museum called “Valberg Tower”. I was in charge of ticket handling, receiving visitors and tell the history about the tower. I still do this job during summer vacations (except the summer I worked in Spain).

My first job as a teacher. I learned a lot about teaching, strategy, planning of events, time management and conflict management. I was placed at various public schools and one semi-private school. Also learned a lot about the Chinese educational system.

Linguistic Video Game Tester for “FIFA 2015”. As I already had experience in localization QA, I became the leader for the Norwegian testing team. I was in charge of writing the EOD-report for the whole team, keep track of what everyone had done through the day, hand in report, and also hand out their tasks and help them execute them. Worked with Jira, and other databases. Working with multiple large Excel sheets and keeping attention to terminology, guidelines was a daily routine.

Linguistic Video Game Tester. Testing language inside various games. Proofread, make corrections and write bug reports. Test according to test sheets and write end of day reports. Although localization was my main responsibility, I also worked closely with HR assisting in recruitment of new testers and with the QA team in focus groups, giving client feedback with reports on how to improve the game from a customer's point of view. Worked on projects such as “Ghostbusters”, “Splinter Cell: Conviction”, “Assassins Creed 2” among others.

My own company working as a DJ for a club/restaurant in Harstad, Norway. I had to learn basic accounting and improved my excel skills.

Resident DJ. In addition to my regular weekends, I also assisted with bigger arrangements during weekdays, helped out with other jobs when staff was not available, and helped with the recruitment of new DJ's when I was leaving.

As an employee of Kelly Services, you are sent to various employers. I mainly worked at Fjordkjøkken (A food processing plant) and Coop (a chain of grocery stores)

BA Chinese with China studies Studied Chinese language (Mandarin), history, culture, politics, tradition, traditional Chinese and ancient Chinese. 6 months were spent at Peking University with intensive language studies from June 2011 to Christmas 2011. T

I took courses in programming, mathematics, map design and sociology. I attended two different master degree programs during this time, but did not complete them.

Learned a lot about how to control a group, how to give precise instructions and how to be a leader.

In addition to the mandatory courses, my main subjects were mathematics, chemistry and physics.
