As a Spanish teacher at a university in China, I taught a variety of courses, including Conversation I, II, and III, Hispanic Cinema, Press, and a Conversation Corner. In these courses, I focused on developing students' speaking and listening skills through interactive activities, discussions, and media analysis. I designed lessons that encouraged students to actively engage with the language, exploring both formal and informal registers of Spanish. Additionally, I incorporated cultural content related to Spanish-speaking countries, providing students with a deeper understanding of the language’s connection to global contexts. My responsibilities also included creating assessments, offering individualized support, and continuously adapting my teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners in a multicultural environment.
